Kampala, Uganda – Celebrated Ugandan musician Namukwaya Hajara Diana, popularly known as Spice Diana, narrowly escaped what appears to have been a targeted attack on Friday night. The “Siri Regular” singer was reportedly ambushed by an unknown boda boda rider who vandalized her high-end Range Rover, prompting fears of an assassination attempt.

According to social media reports, the incident unfolded after Spice Diana was trailed by individuals suspected to be armed with pavers. When she stopped her vehicle, one of the assailants began smashing its windows, shattering the windshield in the process.

The Source Management artist was inside the car at the time of the attack but managed to escape unharmed. No physical injuries were reported, though the incident left the singer visibly shaken.

Spice Diana later broke her silence on social media, expressing her shock and gratitude to God for surviving the ordeal. She suggested that the attacker may have been sent with the intention to take her life, a claim that has left fans worried and confused.
“My car was attacked by a boda guy who was allegedly sent to kill me. I thank God I am safe,” she shared in an emotional post, accompanied by photos of her vandalized car.

Fans flooded her comment sections with messages of love, concern, and support, praising her resilience and thanking God for protecting her. Many called for increased security around public figures, especially artists who continue to face threats.

As of Saturday afternoon, the Uganda Police had not issued an official statement about the incident. However, investigations are believed to be underway, and more details are expected to emerge soon.

The attack has once again raised concerns about the safety of celebrities and public figures in Uganda, and calls have intensified for authorities to act swiftly and transparently.
