Mr Bryan White Kirumira, the man who had bags of money and hid in Dubai after he ran bankrupt and quietly returned in the country is now back in news only after police started investigating him following the death of a girl in his home on Monday.
Carolline Nalubwama 25,who has been staying with Bryan White was reportedly killed after a gas cylinder allegedly exploded injuring Bryan as well. Some house property too got burnt.
However police has launched investigations into the suspicious death after the father reported the incident.
The pair have been living at the former socialite’s home in Kyamula, Makindye Division ever since Kirumira returned quietly from Dubai where he stayed after the money he used to splash ran out.
Kampala metropolitan Deputy police spokesman, Luke Oweyesigyire told media that Bryan White has since recorded a statement to aid investigations.
“The territorial police at Katwe are actively investigating the circumstances under which one Nalubwama Caroline, aged 25, allegedly sustained serious injuries resulting in her death,” Owoyesigyire said.
Nalubwama was pronounced dead on arrival to Kiruddu hospital where she was rushed after the incident.
“A team of detectives visited the scene of crime together with other relevant officers. The scene was examined, documented, and relevant exhibits were recovered to aid in the ongoing investigations.” said a police source.
“Efforts are underway to retrieve available CCTV footage and interview additional witnesses to piece together the actual sequence of events,” he said.

Spy Reports, which first broke the story said that Caroline’s father, Tom Mutyaba, 52, reported the matter to Katwe Police Station under case reference DEF 73/2025, prompting detectives, forensic experts, and fire officers to examine the scene.
Bryan White, once one of Kampala’s most flamboyant personalities, rose to fame between 2017 and 2019 for his ostentatious displays of wealth and claims of supporting the youth through charity drives.
But he latter ran out of money before some of his girl helpers at Bryan White Foundation accused him.of sexual exploitation and physical assault forcing him to relocate to Dubai to cool off and treat an alleged sickness.
