The grand national reunion of all Banyarwanda of Uganda origin also known as Abavandimwe to merry make, meet and enjoy with friends, in laws and all good people has caused massive excitement and expectations.
Dubbed ” The Grand Bavandimwe Festival” and slated to be attended by all Banyarwanda from Uganda and friends and in laws is slated for January 3,2026 in Kampala, Lugogo Cricket oval. It will also aettract local and regional mudic honchos.
According to organizers, the festivity is aimed at making Bavandimwe and close friends and in laws and well wishers enjoy and live large with the current freedom and new found self esteem and restoration.
” We intend to reunite as brothers, sisters, in laws, friends and well wishers. We shall eat and drink. We shall live the peace we are enjoying and we look foreward to seing every one from.all corners of Uganda” said Mrs Oliver Burungi one of the promoters.
She said they have booked leading singers like Ray G, Eddie Kenzo, Cindy , Dr Jose Chamellion plus leading singers and dance groups from Rwanda.
Entrance will be free for all and the dress code will be pure white for all. She invited every one to come start the new year in style saying every thing is first class and security is maximum.
