The National Unity Platform president, Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine) and Buganda premier Charles Peter Mayiga were on Tuesday engaged in a closed-door meeting for a number of hours.
According to insiders, the meeting was aimed at discussing the sour relationship between Bobi Wine and Leader of Opposition Mathias Mpuuga who was also in attendance.
Pictures by local media showed various leaders of NUP entering Bulange Mengo for the meeting.
Analysts also believe that the meeting is aimed at convincing the opposition principals to allow space for more Baganda politicians to take up juicy positions in the opposition arena.
Previously, before Mayiga came, members of the opposition were allowed free entry and campaigns on cbs radio and during kingdom events but Mayiga stopped this.
