KAMPALA: Uganda’s ambassador to Iran, Muhammad Tezikuba Kisambira, has died.

According to the foreign affairs ministry, Kisambira died on Friday in Tehran.

“The late Amb. Kisambira will be remembered for his patriotic service, particularly in strengthening the bilateral relations between Uganda and the Islamic Republic Iran and other countries of accreditation,” the ministry said.

“Burial arrangements will be communicated in due course,” the ministry added.
