Court in Kampala has charged a mid aged lady for participating and trading in forged land tittles.
Annet Ndagire was charged by Makindye court chief magistrate for forgery, uttering false documents and fraudulent procurement of a certificate of tittle , conspirancy to defraud and interfering with the estate of the deceased .
Ndagire joins Mutabingwa Tonny who was earlier charged of similar cases.
The accused and others still at large between December 2022 and March 2023 forged court orders and documents and erroneously depicted ownership of three accres of land which otherwise belonged to late Joseph GR Nsubuga and later selling it.
She was sent on remand until August 13,2024 when she will be returned to court.
Meanwhile three PDM SACCO leaders in Namutumba, Busoga sub region have been charged asking members for unauthorized money before processing their development money.
The trio namely, Emanuel Ngobi the chairman,Kabanene Isma the vice chair person and Kasisa Wilberforce who is the secretary were recently charged before the chief magistrate of Iganga district court.
They are being accused of obtaining money by false pretense from members of the Kiwani PDM SACCO in Bulolo village, Namutumba district.
Court sent them on remand until August 27, 2024 .
