THE anti_ graft teams led by State House Anti_Corruption Unit , Uganda police and the office of the DPP have
arraigned a city pastor over fraud.
Self proclaimed Bishop, Siribaleka Aaron of Pentecostal Church in Kampala, also a Chief Director of the Youth Vulnerable Children and Orphans Alliance Africa has been charges with obtaining Money by False Pretence among others at Mbale Chief Magistrates Court .
It was alleged that the accused between the years 2018 and 2019 in the Bugisu region with an intent to defraud, used his organization and obtained over UGX 390M from pastors, parents and prospective businessmen.
The victims paid the money through Child Development Centres (CDCs) with promises of education grants, scholarships, jobs after training and capital for their business among other activities which never materialised.
He has been remanded until 25/09/2024 when the matter will resume.
