Kim Kardashian named one of world’s richest people

US reality TV star Kim Kardashian West has now been enlisted into the super rich club of billionaires when her net worth capped $bn.

Kardashian’s cosmetics, clothing interests and television income, endorsement deals and investments have helped her amass the wealth according to Forbes business magazine.

She now becomes one of the 2,755 figures on Forbes International Billionaires List that includes Amazon founder Jeff Bezos leads with a net worth of $177bn.

Kardashian’s husband Kanye West is already on the list with a net worth of ($1.8bn). Forbes calculated that the 40-year-old’s worth had risen to $1bn from $780m in October and much of the income was accrued from KKW Beauty cosmetics business and the Skims shape wear company.
