Death Of Tycoon’s Wavamuno’s Favourate Son Leaves QuestionsBy A. Lubowa

KAMPALA

DEATH is death but the sudden demise of Joe Kayima Wavamuno ,the son of business man Sir Gordon Wavamuno comes with shock and questions.

Kayima 57, is alleged to have died in bathroom accident.

The deceased was among Wavamuno’s sons running his multi-million dollar business empire and was also very close to his father always caring whenever the tycoon needed close health help.

Kayima, according to close family associates, died in a bathroom accident in Thailand.

The deceased had reportedly accompanied a close family member for cancer treatment.

Medics in Thailand are now investigating what could have caused this bathroom fall and death.

The medical team is already reportedly working with the late’s health managers for any history of his health to come out with any possible cause.

A family source said their lovely and hardworking relative was not sick but in any way and had accompanied a family member who have cancer related problems.
He said such sad news came as a terrible shock to the entire family and leaves questions.

Former minister and Teso politician Capt Mike Mukula was among the first family close friend to extend condolences to the wailing family of Sir Gordon wavamuno.

On his X handle , he wrote,
“I am deeply saddened by the unfortunate demise of my Friend Kayima Wavamuno (RIP) of Spear Motors Ltd while in Thailand 🇹🇭 with his family in a bathtub fall,”

Mukula added, “My deepest condolences go to Prof Gordon Wavamuno and family, Elvis Wavamuno and spear group of companies friends and relatives of the late,”
Many other family friends , business community and prominent people in the country have since extended condolences to the family.

Frequent incidents of accidents and falls in bathrooms are regrettably increasing , typically stemming from slippery surfaces, inadequate lighting, heart related conditions, hypertension, personal flaws amidst the absence of safety features.

The late Kayima was among Wavamuno’s son who were running their father’s vast business empire including Spear Motors and was allegedly head of advertisement.
