Jolted Lover Arrested For Killing His Ex Wife , Neighbo

POLICE at Jinja road Police station has arrested an officer suspected to have shot dead his ex-lover and another dead in the barracks.
Kampala Metropolitan deputy police spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire says, Constable Alex Adei attached to the counter terrorism unit and staying in Naguru barracks shot and killed his former wife with whom they had separated.
“The woman was now with new boyfriend and after being deployed with a gun, went and found the lady out of her uniport and shot her dead,” Owoyesigyire said.
He noted that whereas it was thought that only one person was killed, on Monday morning , another body was found in a pool of blood.
“Early in the morning, one of the officers, also a resident of Naguru barracks was found in a pool of blood adjacent to where the first victim was killed. It is believed the gunshot extended up to the neighbour who was sleeping and died in his sleep.”
Owoyesigyire said whereas details surrounding the shooting are still scanty, investigations are ongoing.
