Errant Man Remanded Over Illegal Possession Of 40 Acres Of Land

COURT in Hoima has sent an errant man who forcefully took possession of 40 acres of land on remand.
Robert Musoga who was recently apprehended by the State House Anti Corruption unit working together with the Uganda police and the office of the DPP was Thursday 31, 2024 arraigned before the Chief Magistrates Court in Hoima to face charges of Forcible Detainer.
Prosecution told court that the accused between 2016 and 2024 in Kibuuke district, forcefully took possession of land approximately 40 acres, ignoring several judgements including; warrants of execution which were issued by Court and cleared for implementation.
Despite this, the accused continued to illegally take possession of the land, to the detriment of the rightful owner.
He has been remanded until 7/ 11/2024.
