Henry Ssentongo who lived in Kawempe Mbogo, in Kawempe division before relocating to South Africa was shot dead last Tuesday.

The incident happened in Gauteng’s township of Ranga-lakita when the Somali killed Ssentongo over a disagreement about furniture.

The Somali had contracted Ssentongo to make him a sofar set but they got a misunderstanding and he killed him and took off.

According to Mr Maple Julio a journalist based in South Africa , the Somali who was in the company of his wife came to pick his sofar but got it unready starting a heated exchange.

The Somali allegedly ran back home and came back with a gun and shot Ssentongo dead.

By press time the Ssentongo’s body was still in the hands of Gauteng police authority.

But Sheikh Ali Ssekamatte one of leaders of Uganda community in South Africa said they were mobilizing resources to return the remains to Uganda.

He cautioned Ugandans living in South Africa to be extra cautious saying the environment is not so conducive saying many of his members have met death in unclear circumstances.
