How Nyendo Mother Was Electrocuted

MASAKA

RELATIVES and neighbors are coming to terms with Shoch after a 21-year-old woman, Zaituni Nakaliiri, lost her life in a tragic accident in Mukudde Village, Nyendo-Ssenyange Ward, Masaka City.

According to eye witnesses, she was electrocuted while hanging clothes at her home when one of the clothes came into contact with an exposed electric wire.

“She was hanging clothes near an electric line, and one of them touched a wire and people blamed the tragedy on illegal electricity connections prevalent in the area.

Police from Nyendo responded to the scene, where they found Nakalinzi’s husband, Muhammad Mbaziira, unconscious from shock. He was rushed to Masaka Regional Referral Hospital for treatment as the body was taken in the same hospital for examination.
