Emmanuel Dombo the NRM party director communications made revelation and confirmed that the required funds have been secured to kick started the exercise.

“We are ready to resume our roadmap activities. This includes the election of party structures, the computerization of our register, and the registration of members who missed the previous process,” Dombo noted.

The suspension of activities since March 2024 had left NRM members across the country uncertain about the party’s preparations for the elections.

Dombo reassured DEC members in Bugisu sub region that with the new funding, the roadmap will proceed without any further delays.

The districts included Mbale, Sironko, Bududa, Bulambuli, Manafwa, Namisindwa and Mbale city.

The meeting took place at Mbale secondary school in Mbale city.

Meanwhile, the
NRM Chairpersons in Bugisu Sub-region are in arms with NRM party over their accumulated sh2m monthly DEC arrious since 2015.

The chairpersons have asked NRM party chairperson president Yoweri Museveni fulfil and clear their outstanding accumulated arriars of sh2m since 2015.
