According to a statement shared on Kyagulanyi’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, security forces broke through the gates of the popular beach premises and entered by force.

It was reported that after switching off security cameras a section of employees were rounded up or treated on teargas.

No official security statement has been registered by both the military and police.

The beach is owned by Mr Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine the leader of NUP.

An insider at NUP told media that they had planned a retreat for their foot soldiers at the facility.
