Northern By Pass To Be Half Closed Over Repairs _ Gen Katumba Wamala

KAMPALA
The ministry of works and transport has warned users of Kampala Northern By Pass over disruptions following it’s repairs commencing December 28,2024.
In a statement signed by the transport minister, Gen Katumba Wamala, the road works will focus on repairs between Kisaasi and Busega interchange.
He said for that matter there will be carriage closure with traffic being diverted to the opposite direction.
The statement further said the repairs will include removing of the old asphalt, pressing the base, priming and laying a new asphalt.
He therefore called road users to get ready for the alleged disruptions and also to plan their journeys accordingly.
The construction will be coordinated by the ministry, Uganda police and Stirling civil engineering company limited.
