Nakifuma

The Nakifuma Magistrates Court Friday morning, convicted and sentenced two individuals; Nanfuka Christine and Nasejje Halima to community service and fines, with a custodial sentence of one year in default, after they pleaded guilty for charges of disobeying lawful orders.

The two were arrested by state House Anti corruption unit working together with Uganda police and the DPP’s office and later arraigned the duo and another, Kirya Patrick to face justice.

Court heard that the who between, the months of February and April 2025, in Nkonge Village, Mukono district unlawfully denied a victim, Nansereko Zaina access to her land, defying a court order that upheld her right to use her portion of the property.

Despite repeated warnings, the accused continued to harass the victim and hired individuals to violently block her from accessing the land.

The judgement has put to rest this land matter.
