Hon Theodore Ssekikubo has been left fatally wounded politically after the NRM Tribunal dismissed his petition.

The Lwemuyaga constituency MP had together with Hon Kabatsi Joy Kafula petioned the NRM elections dispute tribunal challenging the alleged victory of Brig Gen Emmanuel Rwashande as the NRM party flag bearer in the latest primaries marred by violence.

Rwashande was declared winner with 16,365 votes(54.3)whole Ssekikubo received 8,702(28.92), Kabatsi got 473 (1.59) . Other two contenders got to minimal votes.

Hover Ssekikubo and Kabatsi opposed the loss saying Rwashande rigged through changing results and other violent means.
Ssekokubo requested to be declared the genuine winner.

But the tribunal judgement yesterday pitted Ssekikubo saying it would be erroneous for it to declare him in the very violence polls he opposed.

It said he had showed no evidence either to prove the rigging he complained about and threw his petition aside.
