The Busoga Kingdom is thrown into frenzy as people cerebrate the birth of twins to His Majesty Kyabazinga William Gabula Nadiope IV and Her Royal Highness Queen Jovia Mutesi.
The twins have been named prince William Ethan Nadiope and Prince Arnold Eli Nadiope
According to the official statement: the pair of twins were born on August 27, 2025, marking a historic addition to the royal household.
Presently the Kyabazinga expressed deep joy and gratitude over the births.
“With profound joy and heartfelt gratitude, I am delighted to formally announce the birth of our twin sons… The arrival of the newborns marks a deeply cherished milestone in our family’s journey, and we are overwhelmed and humbled by the magnitude of this double blessing,” he said, adding that both the twins and their mother were in excellent health.
The announcement has been met with widespread jubilation across Busoga, with slogans like ” omwami kyakoba……” every where.
The royal couple was wed in a highly anticipated ceremony on November 18, 2023, at Christ’s Cathedral in Bugembe, Jinja City.
Gabula, enthroned in 2014 as the 11th monarch of Busoga, has led efforts to revive cultural heritage and unify the kingdom’s eleven chiefdoms.
