How NRM Buganda caucus has so far rescued the pride of NRM and president Museveni in Buganda region.

After losing almost all MPs seats in Buganda region in 2021 general elections,NRM MPs from Buganda region who survived the storms of the opposition particularly NUP formed their own caucus with an aim of rescuing Buganda region from the hands of the opposition.

The MPs with the support of the Ex-officio Ministers agreed to form a caucus to help and resurrect the pride,love and famous of NRM especially president Museveni in Buganda.

The caucus appointed Buvuma county Island MP Robert Migadde Ndugwa for the position of chairperson and advised by the Attorney general Kilyowa Kiwanuka. Other caucus members include Lwengo district woman MP Cissy Namuju,Gomba district woman MP Sylvia Nayebale,Mubende district woman MP…. With the support of senior Ministers Ruth Nankabirwa and NRM deputy secretary general Rose Namayanja.

So far the cuacus has traversed over 15 districts in Buganda asking people to resurrect their relationship with NRM and vote for president Museveni in 2026 general elections.

The NRM caucus MPs have so far tried to preach the gospel to NRM to the people of Buganda and make sure it (NRM) comes back on the raod.

During rallies dubbed Buganda for Museveni in different districts within Buganda region,the people unanimously demand for service deliverly.

They say (people) that they can only vote for NRM and president Museveni on grounds that service delivery reach in parts of Buganda.

“We dont have any big issue with NRM and its boss president Museveni but our only problem is services don’t reach to us like other regions. Roads are poor in Buganda region,no drugs in hospitals,no electricity we sleep in darkness,schools have poor standards and rampant land evictions among others. If NRM can work on those issues,we are also ready to support it in elections” say the people of Buganda.

Government Attorney general Kilyowa Kiwanuka, always try to guide on what went wrong in the previous elections and promise that government is very much ready to change and bring services to the people in Buganda.

“Mistakes are done by humans and people always learn from mistakes. NRM government loves Buganda and you should also love it. Those who say that Museveni hates Buganda are self seekers who just look for political capital but Museveni has never changed his love to the people of Buganda” Kiwanuka says adding that NRM will do every thing possible to make sure people in Buganda benefits from their relationship with NRM and Museveni in particular.

Kiwanuka also assures Buganda people during the rallies that there will be no more land evictions in the entire country as long as museveni is still the president of Uganda.

Migadde who is the cuacus boss assures Buganda people of the good relationship with government.

“Of course Buganda brought this government in power and there is no way government can abandon the people in Buganda. Let us forgive each other and continue with our relationship with president Museveni and NRM” Migadde says.

The Minister of energy and Mineral Development Ruth Nankabirwa also promises Buganda to be a region of light .

“I will make sure that all parts within Buganda are connected to the national grid. Please forgive us where we went wrong and continue with your relationship with president Museveni since Buganda played a big role to bring him in power” she urged

State Minister of Water and Environment Aisha Ssekindi also commits her self to do all the possibilities to make sure all parts in Buganda get clear and safe water.

“My brothers and sisters,i kindly urge you to forgive NRM and our boss president Museveni where we went wrong and continue with our relationship. Government will make sure that our people in Buganda get clean and safe water” she said

State Minister of health and general duties Hanifah Kawooya about health issues in Buganda region always promises to upgrade the health sector in the region during the Buganda for Museveni rallies.

“About health sector,i will make sure our people in Buganda get better health services” she added

The Minister of land Judith Nabakoba says that every person in Buganda will get a land tittle and promises to battle with all people who eveict Kabaka’s subjects from land illegally.

The caucus has so far according to the stastitics convinced 40% of the people in Buganda region and its evident that if they go on this pace, they will bring back the love of the president Museveni amd NRM to the people of Buganda.

Every weekend the MP convine in another district to look for president Museveni’s votes and NRM party.

On friday the caucus will convine in Masaka for the smillar program.
