  • Lukwago in Nairobi hospital on Sunday.

Lukwago was hospitalized in Nairobi after, according to his deputy, Doreen Nyanjura had been treated in four hospitals in Uganda but his condition was not changing, a statement that worried supporters who started to allege the ailment could have poison.

“Despite attending several medical facilities in Kampala including Lubaga Hospital, Platinum Hospital, Case Hospital, Norvic Hospital among others, the Lord Mayor was referred to Nairobi Hospital for further management,” Nyanjura said on Sunday Morning.

A family source told Newsday on Tuesday morning the results from the various tests were not yet known but that the condition of Mr. Lukwago was stabilizing. Lukwago’s wife, Nalongo is taking care of him.

In a space of four months Lukwago has been two Nairobi twice with the first time being November 24, 2020.
