Kampala — Renowned Ugandan prominent Preacher, Pastor Ronnie Makabai of Evangelical Truth Ministries, ushered thousands into the new year with a powerful message declaring 2026 as a “New Era,” marked by divine timing and spiritual awakening.

The overnight crossover service, held at the church’s headquarters in Kampala, drew massive crowds both physically and virtually. Notably, a number of international VIP guests—including ministers, army police officers, diplomats, and high-ranking church leaders—from countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Nigeria, and South Africa were in attendance, emphasizing the global reach and influence of Pastor Makabai’s ministry.

Speaking during a live broadcast aired on ARK TV and Christ FM, Pastor Makabai emphasized that the shift into a new Era was not man-made but ordained by divine timing. “It is not politics, not economies, but the timing of God that determines eras. The season for change is now because heaven has opened it,” he said.
The pastor introduced the concept of “Code 6” as a spiritual key for 2026, encouraging believers to align with the spirit world through understanding, prayer, and discernment. He explained that those in tune with spiritual codes would unlock prosperity, stability, and purpose in this new season.

In a media interaction during the service, journalist Sadat Ogoye of ARK TV, alongside Amanda Tana of Christ FM, asked how viewers could apply Code 6 practically. Pastor Makabai responded by urging individuals to seek spiritual depth rather than mere routine religion, emphasizing that 2026 would favor those who recognize and act in accordance with spiritual timing.

The congregation responded with enthusiasm, with many sharing testimonies and declarations of expectation. Online viewership surged during the broadcast, with thousands tuning in from Europe, North America, and across Africa.

Pastor Makabai’s message steered clear of direct political commentary, focusing instead on inner transformation, responsibility, and positioning. “You don’t have to wait for a national election to change your life. What matters is if you’re walking in divine time,” he stressed. As 2026 unfolds, Evangelical Truth Ministries is expected to roll out teachings and programs around Code 6, offering guidance to followers eager to understand their personal and spiritual mandates in this so-called new Era.
