THE head of SHACU, Brig Gen Henry Isoke ,Thursday afternoon received the Inspector General of Government, Hon. Lady Justice Aisha Naluzze Batala, who paid him a courtesy call .

The meeting which aimed at raising more performance to combat corruption to the president’s taste as he embarks on his new term of office was at the Generals offices at parliamentary buildung.

The two discussed matters relating to strengthenig collaboration in efforts to fight corruption among others with a particular focus on increased coordination.

Brig. Gen. Henry Isoke congratulated Lady Justice Aisha Naluzze Batala upon her appointment by H.E. President Kaguta Museveni and reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with her and her team at the IGG.

He also briefed the IGG on the mandate of the AntiGraft_SH, outlining its unique functions and strategic operations being conducted to combat the vice and other injustices.

The new IGG highlighted that key emphasis will be on prosecution of suspects to ensure deterrence.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Micheal Tumukurate-Manager Special Investigations (IGG), Ms. Munira Ali-Manager Strategic Partnerships and Public Relations (IGG), Israel Ochwo-Deputy Head SH-ACU and Mr Ngolobe Amos- Consultant, SH-ACU.
