Owner of Hakuna Matata dies

Moses Kasajja popularly known for his pork ventures at Hakuna Matata joints has died.

Sources have told Newsday he died of Covid19 yet others say he died from other causes. Details of where he died or place of vigil and burial are still scanty.

Kasajja gained prominence in Kampala among folks who enjoy hanging out for his neat pork joints at Kabalagala, Makindye, Ntinda, Nakulabye among other places.

Hakuna-Matata-Fun City Naluvule-Nansana along Hoima Road. Here he has been managing boat racing, swimming, camping, a kid’s park and football pitch as well as his original business of pork and beer.

He will not be forgotten for his pompous Life Style of decorating his vehicles and donning Nigerian attires and classy shoes.

He hails from Gomba District where he in 1989 having been a casual worker left for Kampala arriving at a pork Butchery- Wambizi in Nalukolongo. Before forming his own pork joints, he was a hired pig butcher.

He had done early in life done other jobs including brewing local beer called “Kwette” in 1987 and being a mechanic, specialist in bicycles.

During his life, he preached honesty, love for job, customer respect, visionaries and religion.
