KAMPALA-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: Prince Eddie Wassajja Ggulu slept a happy man on Monday with supporters hoping for the best after court ruled in his favor over contested election results.

Wassajja is fiercely opposing the victory of Henry Kalyango who was declared winner for Kawaala councillorship in Lubaga division from last year’s polls.

Wassajja through his lawyer Muzamiru Bujulizi wants court to declare him winner sighting erroneous cancelment of some of his results especially at Up date polling station A_Z and also wants the first and second respondents which is E.C to pay costs and damages.

During a packed court session on Monday afternoon, Kalyango had asked court to throw out the case on technical grounds saying most of the alleged evidence was not commissioned and thus fake.
