Lukwago speaks out on his health
The health of the Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago is improving, his aides have said in a statement.
“Today morning he had a movement away from his bed in Nairobi hospital, having a health walk within the confines of The Nairobi Hospital,” a statement by his personal assistant Elvis Kintu said.
He said that currently Lukwago was in a stable condition and on course to full recovery.
” Praise be to the Lord of the Universe. He (Lukwago) will always be grateful to the comitted team of physicians and health workers at Nairobi Hospital,” Kintu said.
Lukwago’s medical team is headed by a Ugandan, Professor Godfrey Lule.
“Am Looking forward to returning home in a couple of days, In Sha Allah,” Lukwago was quoted saying.
He was rushed to Nairobi last week suffering from persistent multiple illnesses.
