Elegu. Child custody applications and passport forms along South Sudanese number plates have been recovered from the house of a suspected notorious child trafficer, Yunus Bakaki aka Kabbu, the man who appeared in a BBC interview.

Bakku, 44 years old was arrested in Elegu Town Council last weekend.

He appeared in a widely circulated BBC Video taken in 2011 in an interview with Mr. Chris Rogers who had pretended to be in need of a child from Uganda.

“I have enough, even 100 is no problem for me. I have so many communications- a network across the whole of Uganda. It all depends on how you all want it done. I can take you to a family home and get the child officially. There is a way-doing it secretly, abducing the child,” Kabbu said.

He has now been transferred to Kireka Special Investigations Unit in Kampala for question. A child, he said is sold at Shs.45m.
