Deputy Lord Mayor Doreen Nyanjura (in picture) has said her Forum for Democratic Change-FDC party is infested with President Yoweri Museveni’s moles.

“We are still with them in the Party.  They make decisions on behalf of the Party. We keep them because we want to keep the numbers in Parliament and atleast be in charge of the opposition. Unfortunately when the truth finally comes out, it’s too late, no one believes us when we tell them that we knew so and so was in talks with the Junta.” Nyanjura says.

She says she is aware of those who lack the spine in FDC and that they meet Museveni at night but pretend to be opposition during the day.

Nyanjura says the party opts to give a blind eye for fear the public may  bash them ” and we keep those spies in the Party.”

She says that Dr Kizza Besigye moved to Katonga road offices because FDC had turned into a Museveni spy network.

“Unfortunately it was also infiltrated and it continues to struggle to identify and shake off the infiltrators,” Nyanjura said.

During Museveni’s address in May 24 when Spaeker of Parliament was elected, he openly said FDC and DP were friendly parties and that he was struggling to get Bobi Wine’s NUP on board.

Nyanjura says she is if the view, moles are exposed and expelled from the party.

” I was not shocked by Owekitibwa being on the list ( of ministers).  I was only shocked that it’s only her that was on the list and others were left out,” she says.President Museveni appointed Ssebugwawo as deputy minister of ICT on June 8 and her party fired her two days later. She was FDC’S deputy president.

Nyanjura says FDC should return to the core of  the liberation struggle.

“To those in the FDC for Liberation, do not despair.  It is when it is darkest that the struggle to find light intensifies. I can state without fear of contradiction that our struggle is going to take on a new trend that will soon deliver our country liberation,” Nyanjura says.
