Why NRM CEC is backing Ambrose Murangira for NRM EALA MP seat

His Mobilisational skills have always left many people wondering even when is seen as a disabled person. Reliable News coming through is that NRM CEC members have finalized and rallying behind Ambrose Murangira who stepped aside last time after pleas from the party, the flamboyant Ambrose is set to take over from the Deceased who was also disabled. 

Ambrose Murangira has already received majority back up from top CEC members after EALA MPS crid out to the members to represent Special Interest groups as per Treaty.

Commonly known as SDG Man, he is the most favorite for NRM CEC to represent Uganda at the EALA, in 2017 was among the 4 persons with different abilities who represented Uganda at the United Nations and also once contested for the same position during the last elections seems to be in lead contestation to win. 

CEC and Most NRM have fronted him and see him fit to represent Uganda in EALA Parliament.

Ambrose Murangira is a Experienced disability inclusion specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the research industry. Skilled in Report Writing, Policy Analysis, Critical Thinking, Intercultural Communication, and Capacity Building with a Master’s degree focused in Social Sector Planning and Management from Makerere University and University of Zurich.

Ambrose Murangira was a shoe cobbler in his village in rural Uganda twenty years ago. Back in those days, he had no thoughts of the United Nations or even any prospects of finishing his education.  Learn about the journey he took towards becoming the a disability rights activist and the Executive Director for the Uganda National Association of the Deaf, a DRF grantee.  His story is part of a feature in DRF’s 2015 Annual Report on leaders making a difference.
