KAMPALA-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: Police said Monday blogger Fred Lumbuye has fifteen cases to answer but the force stressed he wasn’t yet in their hands yet.

“Whether he is in the country or not yet in the country, our interest as Police is that once he is handed over, we shall process him along the 15 case files that were opened up against him” police spokesperson Fred Enanga said during the weekly press conference at Police Headquarters Naguru.

Enanga said Lumbuye was not in their hands yet.

Police did not however name the cases but sources within security circles said Lumbuye will face charges ranging from terrorism, sectarianism to computer abuse and annoying the person of the President.
