KAMPALA-UGANDA/ NEWSDAY: The roofing of Kasubi tombs started yesterday, eleven years after the unexplained fire gutted Muzibwazalampanga.

Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga said Thursday roofing is the last stage in a series of other processes already undertaken.

Mayiga thanked the people of Buganda for their patience in a long wait to see the completion of Kasubi tombs since March 16 when they were burnt.

“Probably as I stated early this year, the tombs could be completed by the end of 2021,” Mayiga said.
