WAKISO-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: Possibly 97 year old woman, Mayimuna Kyamulabi would be dead today, under a mango tree where her children had thrown her.

Kyomulabi was forcefully evicted way back in May this year from her land in Buwambo-Wakiso district by her own children conniving with land brokers.

Imagine, the land in question is her inheritance from her parents.

But with the intervention of Col. Edith Nakalema with her team of the State House Anti-Corruption Unit SH-ACU) she was taken back into her house where she now lives peacefully.

In agony, this lady was found living under a tree when the matter was brought to the attention of the Statehouse Anti- corruption Unit. Her properties had also been destroyed by men who connived with some of her children to take her land.

This is just one of the stories of humanity including the rescue of a baby who had been sold by doctors to a couple whose child had died.

Meanwhile on Friday, two alleged masterminds of the eviction of over 1800 citizen and fled to Kampala to escape charges were arrested on Friday and returned to the place where they committed crime.

“Our office tracked and arrested them and yesterday they were transferred back to Amuru where the crimes were committed,” a tweet from SH-ACU said.
