KIBOGA-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: Two police officers have been gunned down and their guns stolen in a raid by men in civilian clothes.

The two officers killed include Copol Alfred Okech and Police Constable Moses Kigongo who have been based at Nakasozi/Nakasengere Police Post in Kiboga District.

The attack on Thursday at 7:30pm is the third incident in Wamala region. On December 1 a police post was attacked. On December 7, 2021, at around 4pm, at Sebobo village in Sekanyonyi Town Council attackers killed two officers and two guns were robbed.

A Police Spokesperson for the CID Department, Charles Twine confirmed the development described it as unfortunate.
