During a packed court presided over by his Lordship Justice Isaac Muwata, the victim showed scar marks on the abdomen and right hand.

He told court that if it were not for the wisdom of Mulago doctors who operated him after the thump which damaged his internal organs and a broken limb, he would today be among the dead.

The first witness Mr Oligo Micheal a medical officer took court through how they tried saving Mukula’s damaged organs from Kaleerwe medical clinic until he was transferred to Mulago national referral hospital.

A friend of the victim Mr Alex Tusiime who was the second witness described the whole thing as being bloody and regretable to people who claim to be close to a pastor.

He said he was at the scene while every thing was unfolding since he was eating porridge at the same point with Mukula his longtime friend.

Mukula and the witnesses were however cross examined by the huge team of lawyers for the four defendants same backtracks especially on dates and some inconsistences in the statements.

They and their legal team however told court that one of the defendants, Wasswa has been trying to play with the files and that at one time it got lost and police had to make another one.

Mukula reported to court how the same Wasswa has been opening up fake cases against him to jeopardize the on going case to which the Judge warned him.
It’s worth to note that Prosecution alleges that Mr. Mukula a resident of Kibe zone, Kaleerwe in Kawempe division, Kampala district was assaulted and robbed on June 6, 2018 while he had gone to christian Life Church Bwaise of pastor Ssenyonga to pray at night.

It adds that at about 10 pm the victim wanted to drink porridge so he moved out of the church to buy it and while he was taking it an usher from the church directed him to return immediately to which he objected.

Moments later as he moved away before the four and others still at large started assaulting him and robbed him of a watch, an itel cell, national identification and uganda Sh.500.000 .The case will resume next Monday.
