LUWERO-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: Two policemen are said to have been shot dead by gunmen in a raid at Busiika police post in Luweero District this evening.
“We have lost two police officers in an attack by unidentified gunmen. I’m driving to Busiika town to get more facts about the attack,” Luweero Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Mr Richard Bwabye said.
The Police officers reportedly killed include the OC- CID Moses Wagaluka and Constable Alec Ongolo.
A section of the police post building is on fire. The attackers reportedly took off with some guns.
