KAMPALA-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: Officials from the Ugandan embassy in Sudan have been tasked with explaining why none of them turned up to support a delegation that was in Khartoum to attend the Sudan-Uganda Tourism and Trade Expo.

Details have since emerged that the expo which run from Tuesday to Friday did not receive any support from the embassy there even after receiving a notification to accord the organisers the necessary support.

News from the corridors indicates that Gen Salim Saleh, the Coordinator of OWC, has since written a strong email to the embassy demanding an explanation why the delegation did not receive support.

A delegation of farmers from the various cooperative unions were sponsored by Operation Wealth Creation to go and interact with product buyers in Sudan.
