MBALE-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: Serere County Member of Parliament, Hon. Patrick Okabe and his wife have died in a car crash which occurred Monday morning at Naboa on Mbale-Tirinyi road.

They were riding in a V8 Land Cruiser UBK 995F.

Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa expressed his heartfelt condolences.

“Extremely sad to comprehend the passing on of Hon. Patrick Okabe, MP Serere County. A true voice of reason, an author, a passionate believer in the Almighty and Peace Maker,” Tayebwa said.
