KAMPALA-UGANDA/NEWSDAY:The Police has blocked National Unity Platform (NUP) boss Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine from visiting ailing legislator Allan Ssewanyana.

In a tweet on Monday, Bobi Wine said: “We visited Mulago Hospital to check on Hon. Allan Ssewanyana who has been admitted there in a critical condition since Friday. Unfortunately, the police blocked us from accessing him.”

He added: “The continued persecution of our people is being recorded. Justice will be served some day.”

Ssewanyana has been in prison together with fellow MP Muhammad Ssegirinya for allegedly sponsoring panga gangs that killed scores of people in Masaka.
