KAMPALA-UGANDA/NEWSDAY:

KAMPALA-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: The embattled wife of tycoon Ssalongo Kasawuli Mukasa aka Samona, a one Nnalongo Rose Nantume has said she was raped twice at two shrines.

Nantume claims the first time when she conceived the 24-year-old first-born the alleged rape occurred in a rural shrine where she had gone to cleanse herself of bad omen.

“On the second occasion, men raped me on a Martyrs Day at Namugongo. I conceived and birthed a girl, my last born,” Nantume told a local newspaper.

She, however, gave no details of her encounters with the men she claims raped her.

The revelations come after news emerged last week that Nantume is one of other mothers of Kasawuli’s children with children outside wedlock.

Samona’s brother Sulait Kasumba said that eight years ago, Kasawuli subjected all his children to a DNA test. Reports say at least 10 out of 25 children were found not to belong to Kasawuli.

Last week Nantume told the Media that Kasawuli has started to sideline her and intended to banish her from the matrimonial home and the commercial houses from which she was receiving cash.

It is alleged the shamba boy impregnated her on the second occasion while the man responsible for the first child is not known.
