WAKISO-NEWSDAY: The decaying morals among children is risking the future of nation, the Headteacher of True Nursery and Junior School, Ssalongo James Byuma has said.

“Decayed morals are a common show among our children today. If this is not checked it will eat away the future generation,” Mr Byuma said on Sunday while addressing teachers and parents of the lower section of True Care Nursery and Primary School in Ssumbwe Wakiso district.

He argued parents to desist from exposing the young generation to bad social media where today, immorality is common.

“There are many videos of half-naked people and from these our children copy bad examples,” Byuma said.

He warned parents to avoid exchanges with teachers as such paints a dark example and spoils children. He warned parents that he will not hesitate to indefinitely suspend any pupil whose character fails to be accommodated in the school.

He also with immediate effect stopped parents accessing school when they are indecently dressed. He informed parents that coaching is prohibited at the school and any parent who gives out money to a teacher inform of coaching is doing at his or her own risk, on the same note he warned teachers of immediate suspension if found in acts of coaching or favouring a pupil in anyway.
