Traditional Surgeon Killed After Cutting Off Boys Penis During Embalu

POLICE has started investigating how Moses Wepukulu a tradition surgeon of Embalu ritual was killed for cutting off a boy’s penis during the ritual.
The late had been hired together with his brother Martin Sangula 38, to perform the circumcision ritual but somehow went bad resulting into penis loss.
The younger man Peter Munghala whose penis was cut off was rushed to Jinja referral hospital in big pain.
The incident caused anger among residents and family members in Bumwenha B Village, Malongo Sub-county, Mayuge District were it happened killing Wepukulu in return.
His brother Sangula escaped but was severely beaten before local leadership intervened and is admitted.
The Busoga East police commander, Norman Musinga condemned mob justice which is increasing in the area and vowed to bring perpetrators to book.
