It is feared by the World Health Organisation (WHO) that those aged above 60 years of age, have fewer chances of survival once contracted with Covid19.

Mr. Fred Wantaate the son, their son and heir to the late husband of Mary Musoke, Rev Canon John Musoke Ssalongo narrated the horrific experience underwent by the family when their mothers were sick.

“One of our brothers boldly told us to prepare the burial of these people. We had just lost a young sister to covid19 so he thought our mothers had no chances to survive. When we visited hospital we were only allowed to speak to them at a distance. It was like they were caged,” Wantaate aid.

Mrs. Mary Musoke said she together with her young sibling Nabatanzi got sick from a wedding service.

“We stayed together in the same room. When we returned, I had lost my taste, I quickly weakened and so was my sister. Our son (Fred Kafeero) rushed us to hospital only to be declared covid19 positive,” Mrs Musoke said.

Bishop Emeritus Matovu said whatever happens is the decision of God and believers must always pay tribute to Him.

“That giving thanks to God after healing your family knows who enabled it is the fullness of Christianity and which must be emulated by all,” Matovu said.
