Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga, the 3rd Archbishop of Kampala diocese was laid to rest on Thursday, April 8 inside Lubaga cathedral, the church he had presided over.
His burial followed public viewing of his body outside the church and a requiem mass in the morning.
Before the burial, rituals were performed. These included among others laying a white cloth to signify the day he was baptized and the cross. Below are some of the moments during the mass.
