Police has exonerated the man who went missing on his wedding day of any wrong doing.

Dr. Mbusa Kabagambe Patrick will therefore face no charges according to deputy Spokesperson Luke Oweyesigyire.

“We have closed the case file against Kabagambe after understanding his circumstances when he reported himself,” Oweyesigyire said.

By Monday, his would be wife Christabella Kobusingye Banturuki had not gone back to police to record a detailed statement and all her contact phone numbers were off. This also formed part of the basis why the case was closed.

Dr. Kabagambe aborted his wedding on Saturday after what he called a stressful situation. The matrimony ceremony was to take place at All Saints Cathedral Nakasero while the reception was due at Silver Springs.

But on wedding day, Dr. Kabagambe was nowhere to be seen and this forced his wife to report to Kasangati police station a case of a missing person.
