KAMPALA-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: Women rights activist Miria Matembe has reignited her castration proposals on men who sexually abuse females like Peter Ssematimba allegedly did to his former maid Joan Namatovu as she announced she had assembled a legal team to confront the former Member of Parliament for Busiro South.

“Our team of lawyers will ensure the mother is granted legal custody of the girl. The daughter must leave Ssematimba’s home. He may equally sexually abuse (read rape) the girl.  When the lady (Namatovu) approached me, we had to get lawyers for her,” Matembe said.

Efforts by Newsday to link up with Mr. Ssematimba for a rejoinder failed as his known mobile telephone could not be reached Saturday night.

“The likes of Ssematimba, those men who sexually abuse women, had my castration proposal been adopted, their acts should have been stopped,” Matembe said speaking on NBS TV, Un Cut show on Saturday night.
