“Our team of lawyers will ensure the mother is granted legal custody of the girl. The daughter must leave Ssematimba’s home. He may equally sexually abuse (read rape) the girl. When the lady (Namatovu) approached me, we had to get lawyers for her,” Matembe said.
Efforts by Newsday to link up with Mr. Ssematimba for a rejoinder failed as his known mobile telephone could not be reached Saturday night.
“The likes of Ssematimba, those men who sexually abuse women, had my castration proposal been adopted, their acts should have been stopped,” Matembe said speaking on NBS TV, Un Cut show on Saturday night.
She called on the media to protect Namatovu saying that continued harasses of her is increasing trauma singling out The trending tik-tok video manipulated by a girl who is imitating an excerpt from Namatovu’s interview in which she said “I was naïve”
Matembe rallied girls who are abused to report their plight for help.
Mr. Ssematimba dragged Namatovu to court seeking custody offers of their daughter he had with the former maid. Namatovu contests the suit. She says Ssematimba tricked her into sex by asking him to wash him in the back and they loved each other for more than ten years.
