KAMPALA-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: The deputy Inspector General of Police Gen Paul Lokech (pictured above) is dead.

URN News agency quoted a senior military officer confirming Lokech’s death and said that Police Spokesperson, Fred Enanga, would issue a confirmation statement soon.

He died of a stroke Saturday morning from his home in Kampala.
