MITOOMA-UGANDA/ NEWSDAY: The Deputy Speaker for Mitooma district council Greenford Mucunguzi says the court bailiffs who threatened to sell off his property have apologised to him.

“I received their apology but I am thinking about it
as I consult my electorate,” he said

He had earlier on Wednesday defended his financial standing as solid and there is no risk for him to sell his property as alleged in some media outlets.

He said that reports a bank was selling his properties over a Shs. 3.8m were malicious, being peddled by his political opponents to tarnish his name.

“My multi million estate is intact and no one can sell it. I intend to sue court brokers of Kakiika cell Kamukuzi ward Kamukuzi division Mbarara city for trespass and defamation since I am on good terms with the banks,” Mucunguzi said.
