Gen Muhoozi fires at Rwabwogo again as Museveni succession battle continues.

Muhoozi's latest attack is the second in under a week. The first, on Tuesday last week, the general appeared to warn Rwabwogo to avoid peddling in family issues warning that marrying from their family was not a ticket for in-laws to do that.

KAMPALA-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: The former commander Land Forces Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has yet again appeared to attack his brother in-law Odrek Rwabwogo in a furious tweet where he called him a disaster.

The “disaster” comments come after Rwabwogo in a veiled manner responded to Muhoozi for wasting time in “shallow” succession discussion instead of dedicating time to “productive thinking.”

Muhoozi’s latest attack is the second in under a week. The first, on Tuesday last week, the general appeared to warn Rwabwogo to avoid peddling in family issues warning that marrying from their family was not a ticket for in-laws to do that.

Now yet again in the wee hours of Monday, Gen. Muhoozi tweeted; “I heard someone talking about ‘Entitlement’? I don’t even have to answer that ‘disaster’ that my parents brought into our family. Our God Jesus Christ will answer him”.

Rwabwogo is married to one of President Museveni’s daughters, a sister to Gen. Muhoozi, Mrs. Patience Rwabwogo Museveni.

The former long-time serving Presidential spokesperson, Mr. Tamale Mirundi has often attacked Rwabwogo for allegedly harboring presidential ambitions.

However, neither Muhoozi nor Rwabwogo have come out directly to mention each other’s name yet. Mr. Rwabwogo has not mentioned he would vie to succeed his father-in-law Museveni. Muhoozi has indicated he would as a gift to his mother.
