Police in Kampala are investigating a gruesome murder of a boda boda rider by two male robbers who first possed as clients. After moving 3 kilometres, they attacked and strangled him to death instantly.
The incident happened on Sunday morning at a place called Ziranumbu near Kanaaba in Makindye Ssabagabo Municipality where one Tony Ssempijja was killed by not yet identified murders.
Ssempijja in his twenties a resident of Kabuuma was seen on Sunday afternoon by one resident of Ziranumbu who informed the local leaders.
According to Jamil Kakeeto one of the area local leaders, the body of Ssempijja was striped half naked, tid with his shirt and dumped in a banana plantation. A case of murder was recorded at Kibiri police post and the body was taken to Mulago hospital.
