AGAGO-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: A light aircraft has crash landed at Agago in Norther Uganda on Friday Mid day.
Police has not yet established the cause of the Agago crash but said a the aircraft belonged to Sky Van category with fixed wings.
It comes just six days after a two people were injured as BAR aviation aircraft crash-landed at Kajjansi airfield
“It crash landed close to Kalongo runway in Agago. All the two pilots are safe and receiving medical attention at Kalongo hospital,” police sources said on Friday.
The Short SC.7 Skyvan also nicknamed the “Flying Shoebox” is a British 19-seat twin-turboprop aircraft manufactured by Short Brothers of Belfast, Northern Ireland. It is used mainly for short-haul freight and skydiving.
